Apple might launch new MacBook Air in June or July MacBook Air 4

It looks like Apple’s prepping to launch a new MacBook Air within the next couple of months, thanks to supply tips that have pegged shipments arriving in late May and a release in June or July. According to the source, Apple’s gearing up for a “considerably large” launch for the latest ultraslim that’s expected to rock Intel’s new Sandy-Bridge Core i5 and i7 processors and 10Gbps Thunderbolt ports.

Part suppliers for the 2011 MacBook Air have also been detailed, with Auras Technology supplying the thermal modules, Catcher will provide the unibody case, Dynapack and Simplo Technology for the lithium ion batteries, Shin Zu Shing for the display hinge, and Quanta set to put them all together. No word on final specs though, but they’re expected to come in the usual 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch versions possibly running on processors that range from Intel’s ultra low-voltage 1.4GHz Core i5 to a 2.3GHz Core i7.
