Here’s a sign that T-Mobile’s planning out come out with a new tablet pretty soon: they just got the trademark for “SnapPad,” as well as a number of domain names that includes snappad.biz, T-MobileSnapPad.com and T-MobileSnapPad.net. How do we know that it’s a tablet? It says right there on the trademark document’s product type. As for the kind of tablet that it’s going to be, that’s still up in the air. They already released the G-Slate from LG, so this could be a renamed tablet from any of the other Android builders such as HTC or Samsung. The “Snap” part of the name is intriguing though; could it mean a tablet that comes with a snap-on part, like the Asus Transformer? A hinged, dual-screened tablet that ’snaps’ closed? Let the guessing games begin!
