Well, it’s about time someone aimed for the mobile phone megapixel record currently owned by the 14MP-packing Altek Leo. Not that we’re against the Leo, mind you, but since we haven’t come across anyone who actually owns the phone, it kind of bugs us that we can’t try this one out for ourselves. Anyway, it looks like HTC’s gunning for the record, as shown in the video teaser after the break. We have no idea how Pocketnow sourced the ad (it seems clipped too short right at the end), but the video talks about a phone with a 16-megapixel cam, a dual LED flash, and “professional shots.”
Obviously, the ad doesn’t go much into the rest of the specs, but the phone being spinned right at the end looks a lot like the Desire S. The buttons give it away though: this phone (if it’s indeed an ad for a real phone) is going to run on Windows Phone 7.
