Motorola’s plans for a rugged business tablet leak out leaked motorola rugged tablet

It looks like Motorola’s prepping another tablet, which should be their first after coming out with Xoom. According to a leaked presentation, the company plans to put out a product that’s going to be the “first physical embodiment defining Android for the Enterprise,” which basically means that they’re setting it up for business use. The document for the upcoming tablet didn’t reveal a name, but the presentation did reveal just about everything else though.

The unnamed device will feature a 7-inch screen and a frame that’s built with MIL-810G and IP54 standards to protect it from weather, shock and extreme temperatures. The rest of the spec includes an 8MP main cam, 1.3MP front cam, a 1GHz OMAP 4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of flash memory, Bluetooth, Wi-fi and USB ports. The document also shows that it’s going to run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and not 3.0, but that could change once after the beta testing in October. [via Engadget]
