Sony Ericsson’s prepping a new phone for an MWC unveiling, and it looks like it’s going to be a good one. According to the leak, it’s going to be called the Neo (apparently, it’s not going to be tagged as the “Vivaz 2”), and if it’s the same phone that Mobile Review’s Eldar Murtazin managed to preview, this is going to be one of Sony Ericsson’s best attempts at an Android phone yet.
If the leak holds true, here’s what the Xperia Neo brings to the table: it’ll run on Android 2.3 when it ships, and it’s going to be fronted by an 854 x 480-resolution screen. Under the hood, this phone’s going to be packing a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7630 processor, Adreno 205 graphics and 512MBs of RAM. The leak doesn’t mention anything about the camera, but the photos do show a front-facing cam for making video calls. [via Electronista]
