HTC’s nameless, buttonless phone turns up in live photo HTC Verizon Buttonless 1

There’s been a lot of renders of it in the past, but here are actual photos of the HTC we only know as the “one without the buttons.” And the rumors are true: this one doesn’t have any buttons. It also doesn’t come with a confirmed spec sheet, but the photos do show a front half that’s all-screen (again, no buttons or front-side cam, but it does show a Verizon badge). The back part looks like that of the Droid Incredible, showing a dual LED flash to go along with the main cam.

The photo leak came from a Chinese forum, where they also said that the phone is codenamed “Vivo,” and that it rocks a four-inch S-LCD screen made by Sony. The button-free design could mean that it could readily support Android 3.0, but the phone has so far been seen running on Android 2.2.1 with HTC’s Sense UI. It shouldn’t be long now. Expect to see this unveiled at the Mobile World Congress. [via Engadget]
