Ok, so we all know that the LG Optimus 2X is awesome. It’s the first dual-core smartphone thanks to the Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset under the hood. And because of that, it can do 1080p video recording and playback quite well, which might be something you’re looking for on your next smartphone. If that’s something you don’t care much for, then a 4-inch screen, 8GBs of internal memory, a microSD card slot for adding even more, an 8MP cam and HDMI output might make up for it. Anyway, here’s the latest on the Optimus 2X: it just launched in Korea. The different thing is that it also comes in a white version, giving it something that Apple just wasn’t capable of doing on the iPhone 4. Other than that, there’s no specific word on when it’s going to come out in other markets (other than the generic “Asia and Europe next, no word on North America yet”), but hopefully, the new color also comes out everywhere else.
