T-Mobile just put up a page for their upcoming LG G-Slate, which means that it’s probably (or at least reasonably) close to launch, although we have no idea just how close. The page is basically a sign-up page for notifications, offering little to no details regarding the tablet itself. It does mention that the G-Slate will be 4G-capable and will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb though, but they didn’t give any other details besides it featuring the “latest Google mobile innovations.”
As far as we know, the G-Slate is basically the same Optimus Pad that LG will be selling outside of the US. If it’s indeed the same tablet, then it’ll be rocking Nvidia’s Tegra 2 chip and dual cameras for doing video chats via Google’s Gtalk app.
