Aaaaand it’s out before you even knew about it. A new report claims that the Nokia X7 (aka the “Nokia Journey”) has already been cancelled by AT&T, shortly after a previous leak mentioned that they were ready to release it. According to the source, AT&T had planned to release the phone a day before the MWC (on February 13), but gave no reason for the cancellation.
Could it be because AT&T wasn’t so confident about Symbian^3’s chances to break the iPhone and Android’s hold over the US market? If that’s the case, we can’t blame them. Despite the X7 looking pretty good on paper (with a 4-inch, 640×360 screen and 8MP cam), it still didn’t look ‘hot ‘ enough to steal focus from upcoming Android-powered phones, or whatever Apple’s lining up later on this year.
