Question: If Apple’s so great, why couldn’t they fit a USB port and SD card reader into the iPad? That probably won’t earn them any plus-points for features, but since millions of people snatched up the iPad despite the lack of ports anyway, you have to admit that they’re pretty shrewd. Which is what makes them so great, from a business standpoint. The Made In China online store is offering a better connectivity solution though: a single 3-in-1 iPad Camera Connection Kit that combines a USB port, SD card slot and microSD slot.
How is it better? It’s one less accessory to lug around since it already has all the ports. The microSD card slot is a little unnecessary though, since you can always pick up an adapter for sticking it into a larger SD card slot, but it’s still pretty handy, especially for people who carry their microSD cards in their phones.
At $30, it almost costs the same as the official Apple kit, just remember to add a little more for shipping if you’re ordering from the M.I.C. online store. [via Electronista]
