Itching to be one of the first people to rock the world’s first Android 2.3-powered phone? Here’s your chance to get in line early for the Nexus S if you’re in the UK or you know someone in the UK: The phone is now available for pre-orders from Carphone Warehouse. You can pick it up for free if you’re willing to sign up for a 2-year, £35-per-month deal with any of the operators, up to £250 with a £20-a-month deal, or just pay the full £550 (US$870) for a SIM-free, no-strings-attached package. Carphone Warehouse is set to release it on December 20th, just in time for a last-minute gift for an Android-loving loved one.
