Itching to get to know the BlackBerry PlayBook a little bit better? BGR just put out a long video that gives us a thorough look into the PlayBook’s, er, playbook. It’s pretty cool if you’re into tablets, since it’s pretty smooth. The demo shows that you can pretty much swipe across the bezel for pulling off a number of different functions. For example, flicking a finger upwards from the bottom border pulls up the task switcher (multitasking rocks!), while other gestures will minimize the apps into scrollable “windows” or pull up the onscreen keyboard. Multimedia was also demoed, and in case you didn’t know yet, yes, it can handle 1080p playback, and can even be left playing in the background in case you need to check out the movie’s details on imdb.
