The 3D video craze has finally hit the personal media player space. Cowon has introduced the world’s first 3D PMP called the Cowon 3D, a Windows CE 6.0-based device that features a 4.8-inch wide LCD screen and 1080p video playback support via an HDMI port. And then some. Interesting pick if you’re high on good-quality mobile movies.
It’s not just limited to movies and music too. The Cowon 3D also packs a Wi-fi connection and a couple of Flash-capable browsers for doing web-type duties, plus Documents and Dictionary apps for a little productivity. For storage, the Cowon 3D comes with either 32 or 64GBs of built-in memory, plus an SD card slot for expansion.
It’s due out in Korea in December 10, priced at around $430 for a 32GB model and $510 for the 64GB model. [via Engadget]
