Well, hello (again), Nexus Two. Samsung’s Nexus S turns up in live photos Samsung Nexus S leak

So it wasn’t the Samsung phone the rumors pegged to launch on November 8th (it turned out to be the Continuum), but that doesn’t mean the Nexus doesn’t exist. Evidently, it exists, it’s going to be called the Nexus S, as shown on this fresh set of photos. And just to show that it’s actually a Google-branded device like the original Nexus One manufactured by HTC, the photo shows a clear Google logo on the rear plate, right above Samsung’s own logo.

Google was contacted by Engadget, but didn’t comment on the photo leak. We’re guessing Samsung’s going to stick to their story (they denied that they were working on putting out a smartphone with the Google Nexus badge on it), so specific details are still up in the air. The photos show a front camera along with the usual main cam at the back with a LED flash. That could be a sign that this phone could feature a FaceTime-like video chat feature, and it’s expected to be one of the first phones out the gate when Google releases Gingerbread (Android 2.3).
