Fender Stratocaster controller for Rock Band 3 rocks for real for $280

Fender just gave out new details about the upcoming Squier by Stratocaster Guitar and Controller for Rock Band 3, which is an actual electric guitar that you can use both in-game and onstage. You probably already know about it if you’re a fan of the Rock Band franchise, but Fender just released the price and along with the rest of the guitar’s details. It’s going to cost $280, which might be a bit pricey for a game controller, but it’s a fair price considering that you also get a fully functional electric guitar. And if you’re just starting out, you can pair this guitar with the game’s Trainer Mode to learn the ropes.

Here are the rest of the Squier’s features:

• The Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller is a full-size electric guitar made up of quality Fender components, including a contoured wood body, 22-fret maple neck, steel strings, enclosed tuners, adjustable bridge and custom bridge pickup.
