We really have no idea what’s up with the name, but it’s pretty clear that Razer’s going for the MMO gaming market. After coming out with different versions of the multi-buttoned Naga mouse with 12 extra keys to keep your thumb busy, they’ve come up with this keyboard that, again, comes with a huge amount of extra buttons for MMO gaming. The most notable feature on the Anansi keyboard would be the seven extra thumb modifier keys below the spacebar that’ll keep your left thumb occupied. These extra keys can be set to act the same way your ctrl or alt keys do while gaming, which gives you up to 7 times more key combos in case a Naga mouse isn’t enough.

The Anansi keyboard also comes with 5 extra gaming macro keys along the left edge for adding extra commands, but if you want to keep things within the limits of the regular keys, just about every key on this board is programmable. The software also lets you save up to 20 different profiles that you can instantly switch to with a single button press. To top it all off, the Anansi also comes with dedicated multimedia keys and a backlight that can be customized to light up in 16 million different colors.

The Razer Anansi will be available in December for $100.
