Gaming peripherals maker Steel Series and Electronics Arts has come up with a line of gaming gear themed after EA’s new Medal of Honor shooter. The new SteelSeries Medal of Honor gear includes two keyboards; the 6Gv2 mechanical keyboard Medal of Honor Edition and the customizable Shift Medal of Honor Edition; the Xai Medal of Honor Edition mouse, and the QcK Warrior Edition mousepad.
The 6Gv2 mechanical keyboard is described to be “indestructible,” with 18K gold-plated mechanical switches and anti-ghosting features that allows you to hold down multiple keys simultaneously. Priced at $100, the 6Gv2 also features a media control panel for easy access to volume and other audio controls, and is built with switches that are rated to last 10 times the typical membrane keyboard.
The SteelSeries Shift Medal of Honor Edition keyboard features an intuitive button layout, with labeled keys and the ability to customize and remap the keyboard in multiple layers for easy game operation. It’s also priced at $100, and ships with SteelSeries’ Shift software and special Medal of Honor Keysets. If you have the standard Shift keyboard, you can pick up the MoH Edition Keyset for an extra $25.
The Xai MoH Edition mouse is a standard gaming-class mouse that’s painted to match the game’s theme. Priced at $90, it features macro command creation and can handle tracking on slightly uneven surfaces. The QcK Warrior Edition mousemat rounds out the package, featuring “high-quality cloth with an optimized textured surface,” which simply translates to a really good mousemat for gaming. The MoH-themed graphic looks cool too. The QcK Warrior Edition mat ships for $15.
