Google intros handy Chrome to Phone extension Chrome to PhoneThe second Google announcement for today involves a smaller mobile function called Chrome to Phone. Not necessarily a headline-maker after they showed off Voice Actions, but it’s really handy. Basically, the extension adds a button to your desktop Chrome browser that lets you push websites, links, videos, phone numbers, maps, and other stuff from your desktop browser directly to your phone. Again, not necessarily groundbreaking, but it’s pretty useful for taking stuff you browse from your desktop, like map directions, and instantly porting it to your phone for mobile use. Video demo after the break.

Like Voice Actions, the Chrome to Phone feature is only available on phones with Android 2.2 and up.
