Nexus One lives on as a developer phone
Mobile Phones - Thursday, August 5th, 2010
We all thought the Nexus One was extinct, which wasn’t really so bad for consumers since the market is currently being filled up with high-end Android alternatives. But if you’re still looking for one, Google announced that they’ll continue to sell unlocked Nexus Ones for $529. Still the same Nexus One we all know and love, running Android 2.1 but it’ll upgrade to 2.2 as soon as you hit the power switch. Note that not everyone can pick one up though, you have to be registered as an Android developer. So if you’re still hankering to get your hands on an original, pony up the $529 and start putting out those Android apps.
