If this leaked screenshot proves true, Motorola is getting ready to drop the Droid 2 very soon. The numbers to the left of the table are assumed to be dates, which could mean that Moto will be making the formal announcement on August 10th, followed by an online only pre-sale on the 11th, and the official launch date on the 12th (August 12th is also the same day BlackBerry is set to launch the Torch). Intrigued? For those about to pick up the Droid, The Droid 2 will share a lot of the Droid X’s good stuff, including the 1GHz processor and Moto’s Blur interface, but it’ll pack a comparatively weaker 5MP cam, a slightly smaller, 3.7-inch screen and a QWERTY keyboard if you’re not into the whole touch-only way of doing things.
The leak didn’t reveal pricing info, but it’s still expected to sell at the premium end of the Verizon’s smartphone line.
