Apparently, the new iPhone 4 jailbreak method is way too easy. Apples demo units get jailbroken Apple store jailbreak

The new Jailbreakme 2.0 browser-based method was really easy to pull off, right? All you need is an updated iPhone and a live Wi-fi connection. Way too easy. In fact, you can apparently go around Apple stores and just jailbreak every Wi-fi enabled demo unit they have if you’re quick enough, like this guy.

Not much of a back-story on this one. It’s just plain tech mischief, pulled off by this anonymous, yellow live strong-bracelet-wearing dude who posted the photo on Reddit saying “I got bored, so I jailbroke apple store iPhone 4’s.”

Kind of funny if you’re into low-level consumer store vandalism. But really, these things might piss Apple into doing something we don’t want, like tightening up the code that allows the new jailbreak method, or banning people with yellow “live strong” or WWJD bracelets from entering Apple stores. Despite the ruling that makes jailbreaking and rooting legal, it might be best if we all just be cool, and keep our jailbreaking to our own phones.

Update: Apparently, jailbreaking Apple store demo units is fast becoming an international phenomenon. Like an underground Apple-targeted Fight Club remake, people have been posting YouTube videos showing the deed being done in Apple stores all over the world (well, in the US and UK, at least).
