Samsung never really issued a formal statement in reaction to Apple’s experiments that showed Samsung’s Omnia II suffering from death grip , until now. We just assumed that Samsung was cool with it since the iPhone does have some Samsung parts in it, and thought they just didn’ty plan to get into the whole Antennagate debate. This new ad says a lot though, even though it’s pretty short on actual words. You just gotta love the simple subtlety.
The whole “our-phone-can-maintain-a-better-signal-than-yours” debate is actually funny, though. Remember the good old days when mobile brands boasted about cameras, screen sizes and slim profiles? Now that we have all these advanced smartphones, we’re sweating about things like signal strength.
