So we all know about the continuing debacle over the iPhone 4’s antenna issues. Steve Jobs’ meme-tastic you’re-doing-it-wrong! response, the argument that it’s all a firmware glitch with the signal bars and all that jazz. We can do a quick, detailed recap but really, wouldn’t you rather watch it re-imagined into glorious animated awesomeness?

As you can see, the video retells the plight of the iPhone 4 antennagate and then some. The audio is entirely in Mandarin but then again, the depicted scenarios and the overall awesomeness of the animation easily outweighs the language barrier.
The new animation shows Jobs in his reality distorting prime, lording over Apple fanboys with his latest mobile phone iteration despite the reception problems and exclusivity with AT&T. Interestingly enough, some rather controversial issues are in it; like the Foxconn suicides and the Apple Task Force breaking down Gizmodo editor Jason Chen’s door after pre-launch leaks surfaced. Notable too: Jobs and Bill Gates in a lightsaber fight, which probably takes from Microsoft’s $150million Apple investment in 1997.
The video was created by Next Media Animation, a Taiwan-based graphics company that creates animations for TV news and Web sites who, in the past has brought us such informative and comical takes on the Conan O’brien-Jay Leno fiasco and Tiger Wood’s car crash reenactment.
