One pair to view them all: Monster’s 3D TV glasses will work with any 3D HDTV Monster Vision Max 3DAlmost every major home entertainment brand has come out with a 3D-playing HDTV model, each offering their own version of specialized 3D glasses to for viewing. That could cause problems when you rock a Samsung HDTV at home and have to go over your buddy’s house to watch a Shrek 3D marathon on his *gasp* Sony HDTV. Monster Cable offers a solution: pick up their Vision Max 3D glasses.

Listed as the world’s first “universal” 3D glasses—short for “these should work on any 3D HDTV brand,” the Vision Max 3D is an Active Shutter-based pair that uses RF technology (not IR) to sync 3D signals through a wireless transmitter. Good for movies and games, the 3D kit is also listed as “future ready,” wit the ability to adapt to future standards via IR code updates through USB when the time comes.

They’re due out in September for $250 for a kit that includes a pair and the transmitter. Plan to drop another $170 if you need another pair for your buddy.
