There’s really not much to see here, except for an flickering eyeball that turns into something robotic, but it does confirm a lot of stuff regarding the Droid X’s rumored spec. This short eye-filled clip is part of a longer, more informative TV ad that fleshes out what to expect from the new super-phone: namely, a 1GHz processor, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, an 8MP cam with 720p HD video recording, and an Android 2.1 OS–all of which has reportedly been confirmed by Verizon. Droid fans shouldn’t have to wait too long though: the Droid X, possibly along with the Droid 2, is expected to be officially unveiled within the week, and shipped by next month along with an Android 2.2 update.
