A set of leaked photos show an upcoming Nokia handset in the pipeline. Clearly labeled as the C7, the photos show what looks to be a high-end phone due to sit at the top of Nokia’s mainstream Cseries range. It’s not as “high-end” as the already-announced N8 with the 12MP cam, but this phone should still compare nicely compared with what’s currently available.
According to the source, the C7 will sport a full capacitive touchscreen (probably around 3.5 inches) with multi-touch support up front, and a nice 8-megapixel snapper at the back. The OS on the C7 is currently unknown; it’s expected (but not confirmed) to run on Symbian S60 5th edition to match the mainstream Cseries theme, but Symbian^3 is the way to go if the phone is to offer multi-touch capabilities.
Regardless of the software, the cam should serve as a major highlight here: dual LED flash and face recognition counts among its expected features. The rest of the phone features a standard 3.5mm jack, Wi-fi and GPS connectivity.
