MSI plans to debut a tablet PC in June   msi logoThere’s a report going around that MSI will be joining the tablet wars in the second half of 2010. According to the source quoted by this DigiTimes report, MSI will be coming out with a tablet PC that’ll be based on Intel’s mobile internet device (MID) platform during the Computex show in Taiwan this June.

Named the Slatebook, the tablet PC will run on a platform built around Intel’s Menlow Atom processor, built-in 3G and Wi-fi connectivity, a 10-inch touchscreen display, and a Windows 7 operating system, to make for a system that will reportedly be priced below $500.
