Aigo’s upcoming N700 tablet could beat the iPad… in China AigoPad N700

Word from the east gives early details of an upcoming slate from Aigo called the N700. According to the leak, it’ll run on an Android 2.1 operating system and will sport a 7-inch, 800 x 480 display that can handle 1080p HD video via an HDMI out port. Also, it can reportedly handle Flash 10.1 for getting on the websites that Apple’s iPad apparently won’t touch with a ten-foot stylus.

The spec is rounded out by integrated speakers and audio ports, USB ports, and a microSD card slot, plus everything you’d need to connect to external devices and networks, including Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-fi, and 3G mobile networks. The frame also packs in an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and digital compass to round out a slate that just about matches the iPad and them some.

Aigo primarily spreads their goods around China though, so if the N700 ever comes out—it’s reportedly due out sometime in 2010—the iPad could see some nice, native competition up there. Maybe.
