Wood ify your MacBook with KARVT’s $35 wooden skins KARVT NaturalIf you’re looking at these new wooden skins from KARVT, it’s just funny to think that you might have been one of those people who bought a MacBook because you were impressed by the minimalist all-aluminum design. But now that almost everyone in the coffeeshop has a cold aluminum-ized laptop, it doesn’t look so awesome anymore. Here’s something that’ll let your MacBook stand out from the crowd… or blend with the furniture.

These “100% authentic wood” skins come in two lines: the $35 Originals are made up of six different plain wood grains from bamboo to walnut. The Artists Series are priced at $50, but the wood skins are designed by artists. Two artist designs are currently available at the site: Flourish by Debbie Clapper, and Dot Man by Mr. Penfold.

Everything is currently up for preorders, with shipments starting on May 1st.
