New teaser ad is out: HP’s new slate will be able to sync with an iPad

A new teaser ad for HP’s upcoming slate has just been posted on YouTube, showing, among other things, some features that are absent on the Apple’s iPad. Like built-in USB ports, an SD card slot and a camera. Interestingly, an OS that can run iTunes and those USB ports will theoretically allow HP’s slate to sync with an iPod, iPhone, or an iPad. Will it out-awesome the iPad? There’s no way to tell until they come out with it, but some of the stuff they’re showing off through the teasers are starting to make for a pretty good case, at least potentially. The launch date for HP’s slate is still unknown, although there are reports about some executives claiming that it’s due out sometime in June.
