From the makers of the i2, a universal desktop charger that can dock two devices at a time, and the i3 (ditto, but with three devices at a time), IDAPT has announced that they’ll be unveiling the i4 during the CTIA conference in Las Vegas. If you think you need more than what the i2 or i3 can offer, (you know, in case you need a neat desktop dock that can handle four devices at a time), here’s your baby.
Nothing much has been changed from the i3, except for an extra USB port at the side to bring the total device capacity to four. It’s still a good idea if you own a bunch of rechargables though; the i4 is listed to have support for over 3,500 devices (iPods, Nokias, BlackBerries, Sony PSPs, Nintendo portables, digicams, AA/ AAA batteries, etc) with the use of modular charging ports, plus more through the use of the generic USB port at the side. A LED light for each port will tell you if the charging is done.
Due out in May, the i4 kit sells for $60 packaged with six tips. More tips for other devices can be bought from IDAPT’s online store.
