HTC doesn’t usually come out with color options for their phones, but this set of unofficial photos says that they’ll be adding another silver color option besides the existing black/ dark brown model for the range-topping Desire. (Also unofficially tagged as “the phone known as the Nexus One version for everyone living outside the US”.)
The new color hasn’t been confirmed by HTC, but it should be available when the Desire gets launched across Euro and Asian markets within Q2 of 2010. The changes seem to be limited to the shell, so everything else the phone offers—1GHz processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, 5MP cam, Bluetooth, Wi-fi and GPS—should remain on the plate by launch time.

Update: This online store from the Netherlands is offering preorders for the (EXCLUSIEF!) silver Desire for 449 Euros (around US$611). They also list an expected delivery date of 09/04/2010, which means an April 9th release date (or it could also mean September 4th. We’re just not sure how Niederländers rock their date formats).
