Nokia has just introduced the 5230 Nuron, a full touchscreen smartphone, for T-Mobile. Don’t let the catchy name fool you though, it’s not a high-end wonder of technology. It’s pretty affordable for a touchscreen 3G-enabled smartie though, so yeah, it’s interesting.
So here are the basics: the 5230 Nuron comes with a fairly spacious 3.2-inch widescreen, plus just about All the touchscreen smartphone basics have been covered—3G network support, basic 2MP camera, built-in entertainment and social networking software—except for one: no Wi-fi. It does make up for it with a GPS connection and the free Ovi Maps 3.0 software to help you get around though.

Another “feature” that might interest you? It’s pretty cheap—again, for a touchscreen 3G-enabled smartphone. The Nuron is set to sell for just $70 with a T-Mobile contract after a $50 rebate. It’s expected to ship within the next few weeks.
