Samsung’s first 3D-capable LED HDTV is now available on Amazon. Now, it’s not the much-hyped flagship LED9000 series, but the C7000 (the 55-inch UN55C7000, to be more specific) is by no means considered “low-end.” With an initial price of $3,299, it packs in serious high-def TV tech.
So what do you get for that price? A slim, stylish set with a 55-inch, 240Hz LED-backlit screen that’s fast enough to support 3D HD videos. 3D content is still in the works though, with 3D Blu-ray movies and broadcasts expected to drop on us later this year, but this should start you down the rather costly road of next-gen home entertainment.
The rest of the set’s spec should satisfy most everyone’s needs, even if the C7000 falls under what’s expected to be the most affordable of Samsung’s 3D HDTV lineup. This particular model comes with four HDMI 1.3 inputs, one VGA connection, a pair of ConnectShare Movie ports, a swiveling stand, and built-in 15W speakers.
