I have a satellite laptop bought it in UK and have enjoyed it a lot. However, the video stopped operating recently but it didn't fail immediately, it failed eventually. My laptop was working great for the first 14 months. One day I turned it on and the screen had some weird characters around. I restarted the laptop right away and after that the video worked fine for a few days. Eventually, today my laptop video failed totally while the <a href="http://hubpages.com/hub/Tactics-for-Prolonging-Toshiba-Replacement-Battery-Life" rel="nofollow">toshiba replacement battery</a> still works great after 14-month usage. The bad thing is the laptop is not covered by the warranty anymore. I am thinking about finding a new high performance laptop. You made some great points & I am so delighted I found your help here.
