BenQ intros 27-inch LCD hybrid display
Digital Displays - Tuesday, December 15th, 2009
BenQ has just launched the M2700HD, a 27-inch display that’s primarily designed to be a monitor, but fitted with enough connections to turn it into an HDTV. Built with a 1080p HD resolution, this monitor comes with two HDMI connectors along with component and RCA connections for plugging in set-top boxes or a cable box.
The M2700HD’s panel is capable of a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 400 cd/m2 brightness level, while the exterior hides built-in 10W stereo speakers. For people looking to move this thing off the computer table and into the living room, the M2700HD also comes with a remote.
The display’s price isn’t available yet, but it’s set to be released before the year ends.
