JVC has just unveiled the Everio GZ-HD620, a new HD camcorder that’s listed as the smallest, lightest digital camcorder with a hard drive. Weighing less than a pound and measuring only 4.5-inches long, the new Everio sports a 120GBs of built-in storage and 1080p HD recording.
Despite the size, the HD620 doesn’t give up much by way of specs. It’s able to do still image shooting, with face detection and a time-lapse photography mode. It also features a CMOS sensor that offers video recording in low light, and SDHC and microSDHC card slots for extra storage.

Available in 3 colors (red, black, and silver), the Everio GZ-HD620 is set for a release in Japan this month for the equivalent of $1,235. An international release is expected early next year.
