Sony Ericsson has just released the official spec for the XPERIA Pureness, the company’s upcoming luxury phone designed to be a “timeless classic”. It’s a pretty short list though, since it weighs heavily on design more than mobile tech. Expect only the “pure” essentials.
Measuring 13mm thick, the quad-band Pureness sports a 240 x 320 screen, HSDPA/HSUPA data network support, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, and a relatively low 88MBs of internal memory—and it doesn’t look like it comes with a memory card slot for expansion.
It’s all about style on this phone, with a unique see-through display and premium build quality, The 3G connectivity should offer mobile browsing for the style-conscious who need it, although it shouldn’t be expected to deliver a pleasant online experience with the grayscale display. It also comes with an FM Radio and Media player with a MegaBass audio enhancement for premium-quality sound.
The XPERIA Pureness is expected to arrive by the end of November for 600 Euros (around US$900). Ouch.
