Crazy slim: Samsung’s 3mm thick LCD TV Samsung 3mm LCD

Samsung has recently shown off what they’re calling the “world’s slimmest LCD TV”: a 120Hz, 40-incher that’s LED backlit that measures only 3mm thick (if it gets any more thinner, it’s a poster). Due out in Japan soon, the crazy-slim display features a full 1080p HD resolution and a comparatively weak 5,000:1 contrast ratio.
