TomTom has just announced the XL 335S, the company’s new portable navigation device. It’ll sport a 4.3-inch touchscreen and a text-to-speech feature that reads out street names to help keep users’ eyes on the road. The usual Lane Assist feature will be included, as well as TomTom’s IQ Routes technology, which collects data from other users and sources, and uses it to calculate the best routes using distance and traffic speed.
The XL 335S is set to sell for $240 for the North American market, and will come with maps for the US and Canada (which includes around 7 million points of interest).
