Jabra Cruiser

Mobile accessory maker Jabra has just unveiled the Cruiser, a wireless speakerphone kit for use in cars. It’s equipped with Jabra’s Dual Microphone technology that promises to eliminate background noise while enhancing voice quality for clear calls.

The Cruiser supports Bluetooth 2.1, and sports a clip that allows it to be attached along the visor for easy access to drivers. For quick setups, it also comes with voice announcements that provide pairing instructions and battery status info, along with voice announcements of incoming callers with numbers stored in your address book.

It also features an FM transmitter, and supports A2DP and AVRCP, allowing it to stream and control music stored in a paired mobile phone to a car’s audio system—it automatically switches between music to a voice call if a call comes through. A multiuse feature also allows it to pair with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

No word on release dates or pricing yet.
