
Maingear has just released new desktop gaming PC configurations that come equipped with ATI’s Radeon 5870 series graphics cards. Just released last week, the Radeon HD 5870 offers full support for DirectX 11, enhanced 3D visual effects, ATI Stream parallel processing, and ATI’s Eyefinity tech that allows for multi-display setups (for linking up to three monitors).

TrendNet has just released the TEW-648UB, a tiny USB device that’s described as the “world’s smallest 150Mbps Wireless N USB adapter.” Slightly larger than a US quarter, the adapter measures only 1.3 inches long and comes with a one-touch WPS button on both the router and the adapter to get connected without having to enter long security codes.
The TEW-648UB sells for $25.

Vodafone has just announced two new LiMo (Linux Mobile OS) smartphones for running the company’s online services (called Vodafone 360). Tagged as the Vodafone 360 H1 and 360 M1, the two mobiles are built by Samsung, and feature touchscreens for navigating the LiMo’s 3D user interface, and 3g/HSDPA connectivity for accessing the Net.

O2 has just announced that they’ll be releasing the Palm Pre in several markets across Europe next month. According to the mobile provider, the Palm Pre will be launched in the UK and Ireland on October 16th, while Germany gets to see it a bit earlier with an October 13 launch. UK Subscribers can get the Palm Pre for free with a £44 or £34-per-month plan for 18 and 24 months respectively. Subscribers can also get the phone for £97 with a lower 18-month, £30/month rate.
Movistar in Spain has also announced months ago that they’ll be releasing the Palm Pre, but there has been no word about it lately.
