Kingston speeds up DataTraveler 410 flash drive
Storage - Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Kingston has recently updated the DataTraveler 410 flash drive with enhanced transfer speeds and data protection. It’s not necessary a new model, but the update ups the drive’s read and write speeds to 20MB/sec—a good thing for a high-capacity flash drive that tops out at 32GBs. Password protection has also been added to the DT410 via a pre-installed app called Secure Traveler that creates a secure space called the “Privacy Zone”.
It’s compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems, although the security app will only work on Windows. The Kingston DT410 is available in 4GB ($26), 8GB ($46), 16GB ($84), and 32GB ($134) capacities.
