Netbooks - Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

MSI’s Wind U110 Eco netbook is now shipping to the US. The U110 is a 10-incher that runs on Intel’s newer 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor–which is listed to be more power efficient with a claimed runtime of up to 15 hours when paired with the 9-cell battery pack (hence the “Eco” namesake). The rest of the U110 Eco’s spec also includes standard netbook fare: 1GB memory, Intel GMA500 integrated graphics, 160GB hard drive, and Wi-fi b/g/n. It also comes with a card reader, 1.3MP webcam, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The U110’s price starts at $430.
