iRiver in Korea has announced a new slim e-book reader called the Story. Featuring a 6-inch screen, the Story also sports a QWERTY keyboard under the screen for doing searches and a 3.5mm headset jack on top for listening to audio books.

The complete specs haven’t been released yet, but the Story is listed to support popular EPUB and PDF formats, as well as raw text and Microsoft Office documents (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). An SDHC card slot is available for storage.

The Story is up for preorders on September 16th in Korea, with other markets such as Europe and the US sure to follow.
