Duracell intros MyGrid mobile charging pad
Mobile Accessories - Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Duracell’s MyGrid is a single charging pad that can charge up to four devices placed onto it without having to deal with four different sets of cables. Let’s not go into details about how it works (it’s magic!), but the device is listed to charge mobiles from Nokia, Motorola, and BlackBerrys. Apple’s iPod/iPod Touch and iPhones are also supported with a myGrid kit that includes a Power Sleeve to fit over the devices.
The pad also recognizes when water, metal, or human skin makes contact with the charging surface, and automatically shuts off for safety. Pricing info isn’t available yet, but it’s due out in October.
