Storage company Verbatim has just announced a new line of extremely compact, penny-thin USB drives called the TUFF-‘N’-TINY. Available in 2, 4, and 8GB capacities, the new line of drives live up to its name with dust, water, and static resistance and being, well, obviously being as tiny as you can get.
Measuring around an inch long and half an inch wide, the TUFF-‘N’-TINY’s exterior is designed with a key ring to help with portability, while the drive itself features SIP technology that binds everything into a single compact and sealed unit. These USB 2.0 drives also include password security to keep data away from prying eyes, and support for Windows Vista’s ReadyBoost for adding a little more performance. Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems are supported.
The TUFF-‘N’-TINY drives are available now, priced at $29.99 for the green 4GB drive and $49.99 for the purple 8GB model. Pricing info for the orange 2GB model isn’t available, but all packages include pre-loaded security software for Windows systems, a key ring lanyard, and a quick start guide.
