Orange releases the LG watch phone in France orangelggd910

As expected, Orange France just announced that they’ve made LG’s GD910 watch phone available. The device, which is currently the only 3G-enabled watchphone available, is being offered for EUR 899 (around US$1290) with a 12 or 24-month contract.

In case you missed the device’s debut months ago, the GD910 is a full-featured mobile phone that sports a 1.43-inch touchscreen display, 3G/HSDPA data network support, Bluetooth, VGA camera, and most other software features that come with today’s average mobile phone.

There’s no word if (or when) the GD910 will be made available outside of Orange’s European networks, but the GD910’s quad-band GSM network support should allow it to work just about anywhere.
