ViewSonic has introduced two new devices for the traveling presenter to pack. The first is the PJD2121, a very compact DLP projector (8 x 4.75 x 2.5 inch, 2 pounds), and the WPG-350 Wireless Presentation Gateway, which acts as a wireless bridge between the projector and the source.

Dell adds Arctic White color option to XPS 13/16 laptop

Dell has just added a white color option for their Studio XPS 13 and Studio XPS 16 notebooks. The Arctic White color set is added to the existing red and black options, and comes with a matching leather strip at the lid’s base for an easier grip.

Microsoft announces price cuts for Xbox 360

Microsoft has announced significant price cuts on their Xbox 360 game consoles to clear stock and to compete with Sony’s new slim PS3. The announcement drops the top-tiered Xbox 360 Elite’s price down to $300. The 60GB Xbox 360 Pro’s price has also dropped down to $250, while the Arcade model’s price will be maintained at $200.

Film Fresh offers DivX movie download service

Online movie store Film Fresh has just offered a service that allows for downloads of full movies encoded in the DivX format. Both old and new movies are available from studios such as Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate and Warner.

PlayOn app streams video to the Wii

It’s been a bit behind on multimedia capabilities compared to its rivals from Microsoft and Sony, but the Wii has finally added a video streaming service from Media Mall’s PlayOn app. It still won’t compare to Blu-ray or HD video playback, but the Beta PlayOn app at least gives Wii owners straight console-based access to online video streaming sites such as Netflix, Hulu, CBS, YouTubs, CNN, ESPN, and more through the supported device.

MSI launches Wind Top AE2010 all-in-one PC

MSI has just announced their newest all-in-one desktop, the Wind Top AE2010. It’s a higher-end model compared to the previous Atom-powered AE1900 series, running on AMD’s Athlon X2 3250e dual core processor and ATI’s Radeon HD 3200 graphics, but still keeps a touchscreen interface on a larger 20-inch display, and the Wind Top line’s modern glass-framed design.

Asus unveils three EeeTop all-in-one PCs

Asus has just announced three of its new EeeTop all-in-one PCs to the US market, the 20-inch ET2002 and ET2002T, and the 22-inch ET2203T. Both ET2002 models are basically energy (and space)-efficient nettops that run on Intel’s Atom processors and Nvidia’s ION integrated graphics, while the ET2203 is set up for high-end HD entertainment with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a dedicated ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics card.

Super Talent unveils low-profile eco-friendly DDR3 memory

Memory manufacturer Super Talent Technology has developed a new line of green (literally and figuratively) DDR3 modules that use 38% less PCB material and 47% less packaging material than the company’s standard DDR3 DIMMs called VLP (very low profile) DDR3.

OCZ unveils affordable SLC-based Agility EX SSD

OCZ has just announced the Agility EX series of solid state drives that bears the distinction of currently being the industry’s most affordable SLC (single-level cell) NAND-based SSD.

The OCZ Agility EX is designed with a slim, lightweight alloy housing and features an Indilinx controller and a 64MB cache for read and write speeds of up to 255MB/s and 195MB/s respectively.

Network and communications brand AirLive has just released a new line of Wi-fi n products, the WN-200R router and WN-200USB dongle. Based on the 802.11 draft n spec, the 11n router features a single 1T1R (one transmit and receive) detachable antenna that can come up with a 150Mbps connection.
