Kodak launches 1080p HD pocket camcorder   KodakZi8

Kodak has just unveiled a number of new products, starting with a new pocket-sized HD camcorder that can record videos in full HD 1080p quality. Tagged as the Zi8 pocket video camera, the compact 12.5mm-thick device packs a 5MP CMOS sensor with a f/2.8 fixed focus lens for snapping 5.3MP widescreen (16:9) JPEG stills or recording high-definition videos in H.264 MOV files.

Microsoft, Yahoo! team up   MS+yahoo

Industry giants Yahoo! and Microsoft have announced a partnership that promises to improve the Web search experience for users and advertisers. Yahoo! search will be powered by Microsoft’s new Bing search engine, while Yahoo! handles the advertising for both companies.

DXG launches stylish HD camcorders   DXG Luxe 2

Digital camera company DXG has just unveiled a new Luxe Collection of compact camcorders that combine 720p HD recording with stylish exteriors. Available in two design sets in different colors, each Luxe camcorder features a 5MP sensor, a 3-inch display and an SDHC-compatible card slot, and is capable of recording up to 8MP JPEG stills and 720p HD videos in either MOV or H.264 formats.

Super Talent unveils tiny, water resistant 32GB USB drive   Pico C wet big

Memory maker Super Talent has just announced that they’ve managed to squeeze 32GB of NAND Flash storage into their Pico Series USB drives. Measuring 1.5-inches long and 3mm thick, the Pico Drives are built to be water resistant, with transfer speeds of up to 30MB/sec.

The new 32GB Pico Drives are available in two different packages: an $85 basic drive in three colors (C Gold, E Nickel, and E Gold), and a $99 package with Pice drives that feature AES hardware encryption for better security (also available in three colors).
